Learn Tarot Course

Introduction

Taking the first steps in learning Tarot alone can be a daunting prospect and initial enthusiasm can often wane without support and encouragement. This suite of courses offers Tarot tutoring by experienced Tarot professionals. Based on Joan Bunning’s Learn The Tarot, and with her personal approval, the Tarot novice will be guided from their first exploratory steps through to confident reading.


Learn Tarot 1

So you have a Tarot deck, but no idea where to begin? This course provides an introduction to Tarot fundamentals. Students will be given a basic grounding in Tarot and a starting point from which to study further. We will cover the basic structure of tarot, familiarisation with the deck, general background, elemental dignities, symbolism, basic numerology, the importance of journalling and ethics. This course is suitable for total beginners and as a warmup for those who have started on their Tarot journey but want a more formal grounding.

6 week course £80 (£60 for TABI Members)


Learn Tarot 2

Following on from the first course, or for those who have already made a start studying on their own, this course will build on basic Tarot knowledge. Covering general Tarot topics students will increase their skills and confidence in doing short readings for themselves and others. It will cover majors, minors and especially courts in greater depth with the emphasis on using Tarot in short, structured readings.


6 week course £110 (£90 for TABI Members)


Learn Tarot 3

Building on the previous courses, students will examine various tarot topics in greater depth and touch on other related areas of study. The main objective being to develop confidence and coherence in longer and more in-depth Tarot readings. This course explores interaction and relationships between cards, reversals, 'telling the story' and touches on other related disciplines.


6 week course £110 (£90 for TABI Members)


Format

The course will be run on a closed online group. Students will be required to submit their work by the deadlines and participate in group discussions via email or chat as part of the programme.
